Military Exercise Flock Hill Station, 6 - 10 April 2019

The general public is to be advised that a NZ Army Exercise will be conducted in the Flock Hill Station area over the period 6–10 April 2019.

The exercise will involve up to 50 personnel from the 1st Command Support Regiment, Burnham Military Camp.

Training will involve soldiers carrying military weapons and communications equipment, wearing full personal protection equipment.

Blank rounds and some pyrotechnics will be used over the exercise period.

The NZ Army takes fire risk very seriously and all training activities will comply with current fire restrictions.

The exercise will also involve the movement of troops and large military vehicles by day and night.
